Verbena is a perennial that is available in a variety of color
according to region. This pretty plant can display color throughout the
summer, and thrives in hot weather. |
Nava
Greenmound (staked) This picturesque shrub grows to 8 inches in
height (unstaked), or 4-5 ft. high when staked. It's spread covers an
area of up to six feet. This plant is quite hearty for hot weather
conditions. It has tightly knit branches with soft green foliage, low
growth habit, and short needles. It's curved branches radiate in all
directions, giving it the ability to cover open expanses of a planting
area. |
Variegated
Society Garlic - This plant has bluish green leaves, and rosy
lavender flowers. Some plants bloom throughout the year, with the peak
in spring and summer. The leaves and flower stems have an onion or
garlic smell if cut or crushed. Stems reach growth of 1-2 ft. The plant
shown is variegated, this plant also comes in green. |

Stella d'Oro Daylily grows to 2 ft. tall, and produces bright
yellow flowers throughout warm weather, usually May to October. This
plant has clumps of arching pointed shaped leaves. Lilylike flowers
stand well above the foliage, and generally appear in clusters. |

Purple Flowering Plum - This tree will grow in almost any
soil. An adaptable and choice medium-size flowering tree for lawn,
patio, and terrace. Fast growing to 15-18 ft., high and rounded in form.
Leaves are copper red, deepening to purple, gradually becoming greenish
bronze in the late summer. White flowers bloom. |
Raywood
Ash is a round-headed, compact, fast-growing tree that gets 25-35ft.
tall. Throughout the spring and summer the leaves are green. It has a
purple-red color in the fall, and needs only moderate water. This tree
offers nice shade, and works well in a variety of landscapes. The
Raywood Ash is considered a clean tree, in that it drops very little
throughout the seasons, and usually drops its foliage in what is
considered a short period of time in the fall. |
Crape
Myrtle - Summer bloomer from June through early fall. This deciduous
tree comes in many flower colors, and most crape myrtles are mildew
tolerant. The tree shown is a standard, and is a tuscarora variety,
which is a dark coral pink red bloom with a red-orange fall color. This
tree blooms very well in the summer heat. The Crape Myrtle is a slow to
medium growth trees that reaches a height 12-15 feet. |
