photo shows a side yard patio. A coloring agent was used to match the
color of the existing house stucco. Colored concrete has become a

 A
six sack fiber mix with #4 re barb 24" on center was utilized to create
this broom finished patio. It was deep scored into 4 x 4 blocks to give
it the effect of tile instead of straight concrete. |
These
first two photos display a standard broom finish patio in a half-circle
shape. The third photo is the side yard patio, also a broom finish, with
half-circle shapes for planting areas.
This
concrete patio was created with old fashion salt and pepper finish One
half inch salt and pepper stone is added as a topper, and worked into
the concrete as it is curing to create this specialty finish.
A
six inch mow strip was used to accept the lawn and planting areas. A #3
re bar was utilized, as was a standard broom finish. The strip was
formed and liquid poured.
This
